I suspect that you want gnome-keyring-daemon and/or ssh-agent.  You
could try adding an entry in the application autostart tab, but I'm not
sure of the exact incantation. FWIW, when I'm using the Ubuntu session,
I see these two processes running:

$ ps ww 15238
  PID TTY      STAT   TIME COMMAND
15238 ?        Sl     0:00 /usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon --daemonize --login

$ ps ww 15299
  PID TTY      STAT   TIME COMMAND
15299 ?        Ss     0:00 /usr/bin/ssh-agent /usr/bin/dbus-launch --exit-with-session /usr/bin/gnome-session --session=ubuntu
