[xubuntu-users] Renaming device name under /media

Is there a simple way to rename the device name under directory /media? I have a CF Card attached to the second IDE port as master drive in FAT32 format and wish to rename from "3440-8AEF" to "CFCARD8GB" (more meaningful).
