[xubuntu-users] Moving home

There are actually two problems:
1. Can't access the home folder of one OS from other OS. 
2. Even if u copy, what's the use? The programs will be 32-bit which can't utilise 64-bit architecture.

I m no expert but this is from my experience of linux....

I have a 64bit PC which is currently running Xubuntu 12:10 32bit. As I 
have the space I am going to install the 64bit version of xubuntu, 
assuming I install all the same programs, can I just copy my home folder 
from the 32bit install to the 64bit or is their a good chance of 
corruption  due to the difference between 32bit and 64bit??
