Has anyone filed a bug report for this issue? With so many experiencing
this issue, I would expect to see the bug report number being given in
a reply to this subject. If the update-manager is installing updates
without permission, that is a security violation. Please file the bug
report using 'ubuntu-bug update-manager'  in a terminal without the
quotes.
