[xubuntu-users] 11.10 does not ask for password when updating with update manager

This affects me too. Since I upgraded and the update manager is now an
indicator app, it asks me for me password if I choose "Sow updates" then try
to update, but not if I choose "Install updates" - it just installs them
without needing the password. Not sure why.
Any ideas, anyone?
