[xubuntu-users] Edit out Wine menu remnants

Actually there is quite a bit of development of WINE, but Windows is a 
moving target, so WINE always lags behind Windows.
I hope you uninstalled WINE, not deleted it. That way it the package 
manager (apt, apt-get or Synaptic) correctly tracks what is installed 
and the database is maintained correctly so you don't have problems.
