Hi All,
I installed Ubuntu, didn't care for Unity and started experimenting with desktops. Can't stand bouncy, fancy or cute so I settled on xUbuntu, but here is the thing, it now hangs on load.
I was attempting to lighten the load by unchecking items in various system settings and trying to get rid of the accessibility options that started to come up automatically. I also kept loosing the minimize/restore/close bar and also had conflicts with the screen saver making me enter my password four times (really, 4). Now, it just sits there on the "loading xubuntu" screen. I can still load XP, so I'm pretty sure it isn't the hard drive. Beyond that, I'm stumped.
So, now what do I do?
Please help.
Thanks,
Jan Chandler
