And the poor jerk who googles for an answer a week or a month later will 
be confused seeing answers in front of the questions. So, in personal 
correspondence sure, top posting in just peachy.

In a net-searchable technical forum it isn't, which is why they have the 
general rule in the first place. Or, are all the list users that came 
before you arrived just stupid? I'd suggest a time-out, go "Huh" and 
dwell on the matter to get to where you see the perspective that it is a 
good thing to enable others in their quest for knowledge.

And, Windows users are taught to top-post from the get-go. Why? Because 
they didn't want to do something that even looks like UNIX, which is 
where email and the list traditions originated. So, you're bucking over 
30 years of the way things are done in Linux Land. Check out some of 
Linus's emails, he bottom/middle posts. So, Xubuntu is just a very small 
part of the larger whole of the Linux community, and top posting is 
routinely discouraged, and has been for years and years, in all forums, 
not just here. Ric
