[xubuntu-users] best timing for upgrade to 10.10?

Dear all
I'm currently running Xubuntu Lucid and I'm pondering an upgrade to
Maverick, so here's my question. What's the best timing to upgrade via
'update-manager -d'?
- upgrade now, as long as an up-to-date 10.04 was tested for upgrading
to a fresh 10.10?
- upgrade later (couple of months), when 10.10 issues have been
largely sorted out?

I'm approaching this from the perspective of minimising potential
upgrade issues. Ideas?
