[xubuntu-users] Sound problem...so what's "new"?

In 9.10 there seems to be 2 mixers, the alsa sound mixer and the xfce4 
sound mixer.  I would consider altering settings in both until it works. 
  I believe I usually kill off the alsa sound mixer (just check for it 
in your process list), and I altered config settings in the xfce4 mixer.
