[xubuntu-users] New to Xubuntu: For some reason the right side "Alt" key doesn't work...

Maybe check the XKB* variables in /etc/default/console-setup, for me they are:

XKBMODEL="pc105"
XKBLAYOUT="pl"
XKBVARIANT=""
XKBOPTIONS=""

(I use a polish keyboard, obviously.)
