[xubuntu-users] update xubuntu to a file then use on remote pc ?

Lee,

After installing Xubuntu and applying all the current updates, you can then
use remastersys to create a Xubuntu Live CD with all the updates (and any
other programs you have installed - but keep it all within the size
limitations of a CD - you might have to remove some default programs).  This
is a command-line program in the repositories.  It worked really nicely for
me when I created a customized Xubuntu Live CD with GCompris, TuxPaint, etc.
