It’s actually pretty straight forward.


 From the site:

1. Uncompress the tar.gz file in your personal folder.
2. Find the soffice binary file and run it.
3. If OOo4kids is running normally, create a shorcut (or launcher) for it

What I did.

1. create a folder OOo4Kids
2. Right Click the tar.gz
3. Open with Xarchiver
4. Extract to OOo4Kids folder
5. Navigate to OOo4kids/en-US/ooo4kids0.5.1/program/
6. Double click soffice.bin

Can’t see why it’s better for kids then standard OOo though.
