[xubuntu-users] Home folders and files in my desktop...

No, I have tried those options some days ago and didn't work. Neither combo
or checks... Perhaps I didn't explained right enough. If I launch in a
terminal the next command: "touch ~/test", a new icon in the desktop appears
called test.
