Okay, once again, this seems to be a popular subject. The pronunciation
of Xubuntu is exactly the same as Ubuntu with a "z" in front of it. The
correct pronunciation of Xubuntu is "zoo-BOON-too" with the leading "x"
pronounced as a "z". This follows the same rules as "xylophone", a
musical instrument which is never pronounced "ksylofone", but rather,
always "zylofone".
For more information about this, please see the official documentation
at https://help.ubuntu.com/8.04/about-ubuntu/C/about-ubuntu-name.html .
Thank you for your interest in getting this pronunciation correct.
