The Intel 3945 has an open source driver and I don't think there is a 
proprietary driver for that card because Intel actively supports the 
Linux kernel development for their chips. I don't know if this helps 
with Jaunty but I remember that many people had problems with Intel 
wireless cards in the past and it was solved by installing the linux-
backport-modules package.
