you could port changes back into, or attempt to reinstall the ver 195
drivers. From what I know about messing around with the nvidia control
panel it writes all your "settings" to the xorg.conf, which, someone correct
me if I'm wrong, isn't used in the fresh 9.10 install so synaptic could have
"missed"(maybe a bug?) auto cleaning your xorg.conf file for you.
whatever you do, keep your messed up file just for reference.

You probably just need to "sudo mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.co=
nf.busted." =A0Then reboot and let xorg generate a new xorg.conf file =
or whatever xorg does ala a "fresh install". =A0That's where =
I would start.<div>
