[xubuntu-users] Search for files in ntfs partition from Xubuntu?

Hi,

I have ntfs-3g in 9.04 and it works quite well. I can browse my XP partition with thunar with no problems. I wondered if there's a way I can search for a file or folder with the locate command or something like it from Xubuntu? So is there a way to search for files in an ntfs partition from Xubuntu? Thanks.

BTW, Xubuntu is getting better and better. It's getting more usable without getting bloated. And functionality is not getting obfuscated and abstracted away form the user with "candy", like many other so called "improved" OS's IMHO. Real nice!
