[xubuntu-users] Newbie problems with OpenOffice and Xubuntu 8.04

Thanks! I managed to get it installed (thanks Daniel). After I ran
apt-get update, the Synaptic Manager showed it. Prior to that I
couldn't find it. Is the refresh button in the manager the way to
update the package listings?
