Betreff: Re: [xubuntu-users] Beginners Problem Intel 915 Chipset-vga
dieter lange , Hamburg, germany..
WHY only windows ?? Some guys at asus, another asus-guy told me, have been experimentig with linux.fr my Asus r 2 h UMPC.....
And:
even better:
the brandnew triple-e -pc, which is almost the same device , only keyboard and touchpad added, case normalized via notebokk i. e. foldable, bigger accu, no GPS, No bluetooth, flashram instead of HDDbut same chipset, cpu and screen resolution, will be delivered with some kind , some derivate of linux, only !!!
windows : only a driver dik for windows , no more support.Same screen, as far as i know, but mayby no touchscreen ?!
at least not neccessary .
Anyway, the chipset & the vgachip are the same as the ones from the r2h, beeing supported at least by that specific linux.on board, on flashram !
So, i feel, Asus will also try and help me get some kind of linux going on the UMPC , WE CAN be almost 100 % shure..
most likely the origial softwaresuite for tge eeePc will work. One will only need extra bluetooth , a different camera driver and , hopefully, GPs-support.
Me, i only need some more details, knowledge, to fix the issue now, maybe with a littele help from from Asus ...
These guys are sometims a bit lazy, sometimes not !!!
they haven yet answered my mail now for about 2 weeks or so ...
So, feel, the problem ill soon be solved, i. e. :
Tell me a luky guy, but not yet ! Not now!
Who can help me now ????
yours and thanks a lot up to now!
