Hi Cody,
the laptop is a Toshiba Satellite S1800-750
The undetected sound card is activated by adding module snd-ali5451 to
/etc/modules. The wifi USB stick is a z1211 chipset one, that I have managed
to activate by adding this to /etc/network/interfaces
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
pre-up modprobe zd1211rw
post-down rmmod zd1211rw
wireless-essid xxxxx
Well, it should be wlan0 or wlan1 but it was not working and with eth0
works, and the wireless network is not encrypted, just MAC protected.
