Chris, have you had any kernel updates recently? Did you go from (for
example) 2.6.18-4 to 2.6.18-5?
When my kernel gets updated, I need to install new restricted kernel modules
to get my wifi working again. I found instructions on how to do this in this
blog posting<http://grumpymole.blogspot.com/2006/11/xubunt-edgy-getting-wireless-going.html>
.
If you can boot into an older kernel version, and your wifi works, but does
not work under a newer kernel version, the above approach would definitely
be something worth checking out.
