On my work machine I run Xubuntu on dual 21" Hi-Def Widescreen monitors each
pushing 1680x1050 over DVI on a XFX nVidia 7900gtx. So its essentially down
to "is there linux support for your card?" and "is your card capable of the
resolution you want?"
