I don't have the alternate Xubuntu CD with me last night so could not able
to install Xubuntu-desktop. Today I will try with Xubuntu...downloading is
in progress......
But tried with Ubuntu-desktop but failed..... I will post this on
ubuntu-users...still if any body could figure out here what went wrong then
this would be gr8.....
$sudo apt-cdrom add
--> then I insert my ubuntu 6.10 server CD ..
$sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
---> install started and after some time I got following message..
