I can't answer specifically. I haven't used Slackware in some 7 years.
If I were you, I would first try all the distros that provide a live CD. Try
them all, and then try to install all that boot.
It's not a perfect match, but if the live CD works, there's a good chance the
installed distro will as well.
Although now that I think of it, many (most? all?) live CDs work by installing
much of the OS in RAM. If you are tight on RAM this may be an issue.
I expect that each of these distros has a list of requirements, including the
minimum amount of RAM.
You might also visit distro-watch (I think it's distro-watch.org) and see if
they have a section specifically dedicated to computers with very little RAM.
Perhaps someone else with more experience knows the answer.
