To second Graeme's comments, I've run Puppy on a Toshiba
Libretto 100CT, PI with 64MB RAM, and it was surprisingly nimble.
Software functionality and speed certainly weren't issues. Check the
Puppy sites for a variety of ways to load it on older systems.
