Thanks,

I am using 6.06.

I am not keen to upgrade to 6.10 given that it will not be too long before I
Feisty is available. I think I will delay the swtich to XFCE (I currently
mostly use KDE) until then.

In the meantime I might try Xubuntu Feisty on my old PC. It is mostly used by
daughter to play games (Gcompris, Childsplay) and by my wife as a terminal to
my main PC when I am using it. No data is stored on it, so I can take a risk
(and hopefully contribute a bit to testing).

However, I do not have that much time to spare. Is it likely that I will be
constantly fiddling with it, or will it basically work, with only the
occasional (if possibly serious?) problem?
