[xubuntu-users] is it possible to control mouse via keyboard?

Have you tried and discounted a keyboard with built-in trackpoint?
The old IBM Model M13 is one of the best but there are plenty of
others. That might be an easier way to achieve your objective (and
your hands never leave the keyboard) . ;-) John
