Yeah, it is kind of a hack and slash attempt at making things work, but
because the Xubuntu release cycle wasn't on track with the Xfce release
cycle, the core devs were forced to use the Beta2 version of Xfce4.4 for
Edgy and Beta1 for Dapper ... but I am pretty sure this is one of the issues
that has been fixed in Feisty.
