[xubuntu-users] Upgrate to xfce 4.4.1

I don't entirely understand what you are asking but Edgy is older than
Feisty and the only reason you would want to upgrade to Feisty is that Edgy
will eventually stop getting security updates so as long as you either
finish up your projects before then or don't have the computers on a network
connection you should be fine using older versions of Xubuntu.
