[xubuntu-users] directvnc error

Hey all,

I have a client running a VNC server I need to 
connect to, so I loaded directvnc from the 
Synaptic Package Manager, but get the following 
error trying to connect:

root at Xu-400:/home/sevans# directvnc 216.218.131.197:1
Password:
Authentication OK
dfb.c <47>:
         (#) DirectFBError [DirectFBCreate( &dfb 
)]: Initialization error!


As you can see it looks like it authenticates the 
password okay, but then fails.

Anyone have any experience getting a VNC client 
going? I have no experience with them at all.
