I know the workaround. You can change the graphic files in usr/share/icons/ and that is what I already did. But I am looking to a more user friendly solution. Is there a way to change the folder colours so easy like changing colours in CSS? How would you like to contribute, I can try and help if I can. I am not sure on folder colours sorry I can have a look on my Debian / XFCE but that seems to allow emblems not folder colour changing, the folder colour feature is useful, having used it before.
