Hi Paul,

Xubuntu 18.4 LTS comes with steelblue folder colours
width="470" height="110">
Xubuntu 20.4 LTS comes with a new colour for the folders:
My first contribution to the xubuntu developers is to leave that
choice to the user...

I know the workaround. You can change the graphic files in
usr/share/icons/ and that is what I already did. But I am looking to
a more user friendly solution. Is there a way to change the folder
colours so easy like changing colours in CSS?

Best Regards
Torsten
I am new to this mailinglist and hoped to get information about

2 or 3 weeks without a message seems strange to me.

Is there anybody out there? Is this mailinglist still active?

In relation to the xubuntu development I am interestet in the
reason why the folder colors has been changed with the last
upgrade.

Hi Torsten
Mailing list is still active, there is a contribution page here.

I am using Debian with XFCE4 so not sure how much more help I can
be, Both Systems use XFCE4, which is useful for comparing how to
do things on different base systems the front end should be the
same either way.

How would you like to contribute, I can try and help if I can.

I am not sure on folder colours sorry I can have a look on my
Debian / XFCE but that seems to allow emblems not folder colour
changing, the folder colour feature is useful, having used it
before.
