Hello Xubuntu team,<br>

we started the voting for the new Xubuntu Project lead on today's community<br>
meeting. Since neither of the candidates got 8 or more votes (>50% of the<br>
team members' votes), we will continue the voting on this mailing list and<br>
by private emails. Keep reading for more information.<br>

The candidates are (in order of nomination, vote count for completeness and<br>
because it's public information anyway):<br>
A) Simon Steinbei? (ochosi), currently 4 votes<br>
B) Sean Davis (bluesabre), currently 2 votes<br>
<br>
Your voting options are:<br>
1) Send an email to this channel CLEARLY stating which candidate you wish<br>
to vote for. It's preferred to reply to this thread.<br>
2) Send an email to both me (<a href="mailto:pasi@shimmerproject.org">pasi@shimmerproject.org</a>) AND Elizabeth<br>
Krumbach (<a href="mailto:lyz@ubuntu.com">lyz@ubuntu.com</a>) CLEARLY stating which candidate you wish to vote<br>

that you have sent the same mail for both.<br>

The email voting ends on Friday, May 9 at 19UTC. This enables voting for a<br>
full 24 hours.<br>
