Has anyone ever thought of switching to QuodLibet ?
Gmusicbrowser is a good app but cannot play streams, which is
vital for me not sure about other people though.<br clear="all">

Alternatives have been thought of. We have just switched to
gmusicbrowser (with the "Shimmer" layout), and I don't think we are
going to switch soon for any other player.<br>

Afaik, streams are work in progress for gmusicbrowser, too, and that
might get fixed/added before Oneiric along with other improvements
to the feature list (including better album/track/artist info
fetching from internet) as well as some probable
changes/improvements for the player layout.<br>
