The bugs listed in Debian (<a href="http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?package=slim">http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?package=slim</a>) and in Ubuntu (<a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/slim/">https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/slim/</a>) would need to be fixed before, especially since there are security bugs.
