When we made the Xubuntu 8.04 beta release, we were unable to include the alternative ISOs in the release because they were oversized at that time. However, the issue has now been corrected and the ISOs are ready to be tested. Once we get the ISOs tested, we can amend the Xubuntu beta release with the alternative ISOs. So I just came to the realization that the images at time of writing include the broken hal so I'm going to re-roll them. Please check in with slangasek in #ubuntu-devel to see if the rebuild has been completed before testing. Thanks, Cody
