<div>Jonathan, thanks for your reply.</div>

<div>As a further note on this discussion, just yesterday someone joined the Xubuntu testing team on Launchpad, and I happened to see them join the #xubuntu channel. I said hi, and we chatted a bit . . . turns out that he's interested in development (I've directed him to Cody and Lionel.)</div>
<div> </div>
<div>This got me to thinking that the testing team is one that attracts people who run the development builds of Xubuntu, and who may be interested in development (or at least bug triage) if they were engaged properly. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>Yesterday's happening was a matter of coincidence and luck. I wish we had a way to better engage the people who join this team. For starters, I guess we could add text into the team page saying to contact one of us regarding their interest in testing. Any other ideas from others on how to how to better engage the people who join this team, or what we should do with the team? </div>
