Hi everybody !! Finally I am back. After fixing my internet conexion problem I've got the screen of my spare laptop broken. Fortunately, I've got it fixed yesterday just in time to download feisty-desktop-i386 (version 22-mar-2007) to initiate my first test. It didn't work. After checking system reqs, I realized that I have only 96mb of ram so I downloaded the alternate version. It worked! The only thing is that installation process (oem user) took about 12 hours !!!! (I think that my poor laptop will not be able to make the next release of xubuntu). Probably I will be using my extra partition on my official laptop (I know we need best to test on exclusive hardware but is what I have by now). I will  update launchpad with my results. I am very proud of my first experience. I am not sure, there was a surge in crasher bug reports in the past week, which I hope is helped by the latest upload of libxfce4util two days ago. I am drafting a message to the listserve to recruit a few more testers.  As of now, I am the only one to report test results on the beta images that were released yesterday.  Hopefully we can see if others are having similar problems.
