Hi, I thought I'd report on what happened to my brother when using the LiveCD (The GIMP would run faster on the LiveCD than on his WinME :P ). Anyway, what happened was that he saved something to /home/ubuntu assuming it would still be there next time he booted from the LiveCD. Luckily, the file was unimportant, but it could've been important. Perhaps we need to put a message somewhere (desktop background?) ?
