I agree completly. By packaging party, I meant a "get together to learn how to package". I've already taught myself via documentation but it'd be nice to some mebers of Xubuntu (and whoever else wants to join) with some members from MOTU to learn how to package (and get some tips, and tricks along the way).

It'd be a pity to not take advantage of existing communities and have separate packaging parties.
