I'm a developer with the Debian-indic project[1] on alioth, and am
involved with the Indlinux project which aims to enable better support
for Indic languages on Linux. I was looking around the wiki and came
across Xubuntu. I'd like to help out with xubuntu efforts, especially
in the field of i18n in Indic languages. I have applied for membership
to the Launchpad team, and I hope I'll be given a chance to help out.

helping xfce upstream translators.

Here's the stats for the Bengali team
http://i18n.xfce.org/stats/index.php?mode=4&lang=trunk/bn_IN
