I just installed Xubuntu Dapper Flight 4, and I love it! Depends how adventurous you're feeling. :-) I've been running Dapper for the last couple months (mostly Ubuntu-Dapper, but recently Xubuntu-Dapper as well) and the main thing that has broken for me is that the kernel and the restrictred-modules get updated about a day apart, so I have to reconfigure my xserver when that happens. If that's not a big deal for you, then the risk might not be too serious. OTOH, something important could theoretically break any day.
