Jani </blockquote> The standard (AFAIK) solution for the shutdown/password requirement is to add a line to sudoers allowing the user to run xfsm-shutdown-helper with no password, like so: myusernameisdave = NOPASSWD: /usr/sbin/xfsm-shutdown-helper Wouldn't it be possible to do that on itstallation of xfce4-session?
