gnome-keyring does not look like<br>
too much of a dependency, but we'll have to make sure it is started by
xfce session.(Same thing with esound)<br>

Synaptic will work fine. But it needs to be run as root or with sudo. <br>

The synaptic.desktop file that ubuntu installs refers to gksudo. If the
gksu package is not installed, then the menu item will not show up.
Synaptic will still work fine, but have no menu item. It would have to
be started by command line.<br>

I don't think gnomekeyring would have to be started up by the session
for gksudo to work. Its just a dependency quirk I think. I could be
wrong though.<br>
