Question about reasons behind Thunderbird

As we are expressing opinions on personal preferences and I am impressed
with one too.
Ubuntu-mate, I came across it recently , is by far the best ubuntu desktop
compare to all the rest in many many ways including any fedora or mint or
any other *nix may have to offer.
It is noticeably fast even compare to gnome.
