Hi,

instructions found on
https://www.smarthomebeginner.com/setup-vnc-server-on-ubuntu-linux/

*I already have a vnc for xfce4 on a raspberry Pi.*

*On the second occasion I felt I should try the xubuntu-core^ on another
Raspberry Pi.*
*I installed it (*sudo apt-get install -y xubuntu-core^)
*as per instructions*

If I leave blank the session name *then the xfce4 shell is presented
by the vnc viewer.*

~/.vnc/xstartup
def
export XKL_XMODMAP_DISABLE=1
unset SESSION_MANAGER
unset DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS

xrdb $HOME/.Xresources
xsetroot -solid grey

*If I insert startxfce4 & even though I never installed
"sudo apt-get install -y xfce4 xfce4-goodies" once again xfce4 is
presented in the vnc viewer.*

*~/.vnc/xstartup *#!/bin/sh
def
export XKL_XMODMAP_DISABLE=1
unset SESSION_MANAGER
unset DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS

xrdb $HOME/.Xresources
xsetroot -solid grey

startxfce4 &

What is the exact syntax to go into ~/.vnc/xstartup
so the xubuntu-core^ is presented in the vnc viewer ?
*That is missing in the instructions.*
