Xubuntu 20.04 What's New Video

Hi Yousuf

I am not sure on numbers, peertube is decentralized, so there are lots
of different servers, each with it's own user base, however as it is
also federated, this allows users to follow people who are not on the
same instance as they are.

I suggested peertube as like libry (which I had not heard of ) it is an
alternative to Google / youtube so anything that respects privacy is a
good thing, especially given we are a community that is building
software that promotes freedom.

In terms of Xubuntu, there was account on Mastodon, I did a search for
xubuntu and found as a search result
https://qoto.org/web/accounts/226570

@xubuntu at ubuntu.social

I am not too sure who has set that up, so it may be something that needs
to be investigated, I am not sure if it is working or maintained,
despite 31 (inc me) followers. Which may not be a good thing.
https://www.ubuntu.social isn't working.

It just gives those people who would rather not use mainstream social
media a way to keep in touch and anything shared is then also more
'official'

Hope this helps

Paul
