Xubuntu has really improved to where it could be number one!

The goal of the Xubuntu team should be making Xubuntu the operating system
of choice for everyone. Previously we were using Linux Mint XFCE because
everything worked when you installed it. One item that worked well on Mint
XFCE was the update notifier in the panel which clearly let you know when
updates were needed. If the average person does not do updates because they
are uninformed about them their system is at risk. Xubuntu needs
improvement in this area and in its repositories so it could be number one.
