Here's a few games that I think are simple and small enough to be 
suitable for consideration:
- AisleRiot (aisleriot)
- Five or More (five-or-more)
- Lights Off (lightsoff)
- Nibbles (gnome-nibbles)
- Simon Tatham's Puzzle collection (sgt-puzzles)
- Tetravex (gnome-tetravex)
