Xubuntu 14.04 doesn't boot

Lutz,

If you have not yet done so, please file a bug report, providing as many
details as possible.  For example, there are many HP Pavilion dv6-xxxx
models so which one?  What is the nature of the "hybrid graphics"? 

Please email me the bug report number once it is filed.  I am going to
try and find a dvx locally here in Dallas that has as close to your
situation as possible and see if I can reproduce this unfortunate
occurrence independently.
